Kerry Whitehouse

Director

Kerry leads the Brandspec team, ensuring clients receive outstanding support from the Account and Customer Support Teams.

He thrives on seeing client activations and campaigns come to life and will often be the first to try any new product development in the market - especially if chocolate is involved.

Outside of work, Kerry enjoys spending time outdoors with his young family.

Mitchell Whitehouse

Director

Mitchell takes the lead in business development and marketing. He invests his time in meeting new clients and developing new products, services, and software.

Mitchell is an advocate for mentoring and is passionate about seeing people grow personally and professionally.

Outside of work he’s happiest when spending quality time with his wife and daughters, while enjoying good food and good company.

Tim Holt

Sales Manager

Tim oversees the management of the operations team, from inwards and dispatch, to events and storage. He enjoys bringing the Brandspec team together to execute plans and projects, essentially ‘making it happen’ for clients.

Outside of work Tim loves spending time with family, getting out on the water boating, general fitness, and running in the many events around the Auckland region.

Debbie Ryder

Marketing Manager

Prior to joining us at Brandspec, Deb ran her own boutique marketing agency for almost 20 years and has a wealth of practical experience in television and radio production and visual merchandising.

Deb handles everything from maintaining our website and social media, to assisting with presentations and handling sponsorship.

Outside of work you’ll find her walking her hyperactive GSP or miles out to sea on her paddleboard.

Michelle Brown

Account Executive

Michelle has 20 years sales experience, including 6 years in the education sector before moving into the print industry.

Michelle has a passion for travel and has seen a lot of NZ, Australia, Asia and the US. In recent years, she and her husband have taken two cruises and they’re keen to do more in the future.

In her down time, Michelle enjoys reading, playing computer games, and listening to music. She’s also a keen photographer and describes herself as a “sucker for a beautiful sunset or sunrise”. But most of all she loves spending quality time her husband and two grown kids.

Milosi Papali'i

Print & Procurement Team Leader

Milosi’s position is a mix of finance and procurement. Her finance role involves purchasing for the office, receipting orders and allocating freight invoices.

Whe wearing her procurement hat she's pivotal in spec jobs, sourcing, quoting, reviewing art files, and managing print orders. She’s passionate about finding solutions for print POS and displays and seeing them come to life.

Outside of work Milosi enjoys working out and is a passionate netball coach.

Misha Peters

Print & Procurement

Misha is an experienced Graphic Designer and has 15 years’ experience in the print industry.

In her spare time, she enjoys chasing sunsets and collecting seashells while snapping pics… vitamin sea is her creative fuel.

Misha's favourite pass time is spending quality time with her husband and their two boys.

Megan Edwards

Customer Service Manager

Megan has extensive customer service and logistics experience and has held senior roles across a variety of sectors including construction, manufacturing, automotive and transport.

Megan is all about the finer detail and her strengths lie in contract negotiation, systems management, and workflow organisation. In her words “at the end of the day, I like to know the job has been done right and that everybody is clear on the process and progress.”

Outside of work, Megan is kept busy coaching her daughter’s Tag Team and chauffeuring her son to training and his various softball and baseball games. He has represented NZ in the under 12s and Under 18s Baseball and the whole family travelled to the US to watch him play in the Under 16s World Series.

What little time is left is spent walking her British Bulldog or squeezing in a workout at the gym.

Megan aspires to travel more and is planning a three generation mother-daughter trip to Hawaii.

Rose Moreland

Customer Support

Rose has over 25 years’ experience in customer support, many of those spent working in freight and logistics companies.

Rose is a real “people person” and loves helping to solve customers’ problems. In her first couple of weeks at Brandspec, she was able to identify process improvements that benefited both internal and external clients.

Rose loves learning new skills, and her array of qualifications includes NZQA Certificates in IT/Computer Technology, Business Administration, and Food Safety. She’s also a qualified baker — a skill she puts to good use by spoiling her three adult children and grandson with “yummy home-cooked meals”, although her signature dish is banana cake.

In her rare downtime, Rose is a car enthusiast. She loves nothing better than taking her Subaru BRZ on road trips and, on club days, throwing it around the Hampton Downs racetrack (her goal is a 2’30” lap time). Rose also aspires to get into drifting, which likely makes her the coolest mum ever

Leilani Simpkin

Executive Assistant

Leilani provides support to Director Kerry Whitehouse and handles accounts receivable.

Leilani thrives on variety and her favourite part of the role is working as part of a team to problem solve.

Outside of work Leilani enjoys a good matcha, making perfume, and is a passionate artist with an amazing eye for colour. 

Megan Way

Executive Assistant

Megan has over 10 years' admin experience, which she puts to good use supporting Director Mitchell Whitehouse.

Megan’s strengths are problem-solving and implementing systems. She’s very tech-savvy and is the company’s go-to person for all things HubSpot.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys cooking (she’s famous for her sourdough) and sharing the spoils with friends and family. She also loves to travel, and her favourite destinations are high-country escapes and anywhere she is surrounded by nature

Shaine Muldong

Finance

Shaine has worked in global finance for about 9 years with experience across financial and management accounting, analysis and operations support. She brings with her a blend of a technical expertise, strategic understanding and leadership that helps drive better business performance and team results. She is passionate about being well organised to achieve more thoughtful outcomes and smoother processes

Shaine's skills are backed by a Bachelor in Accounting Technology and achieved Xero Advisor Certification.

Outside of work, Shaine enjoys interior design and loves organising spaces but her biggest joy is spending time with her toddler and family.

Benedict Fariu

Auckland Warehouse Manager

Benedict is focused on creating and maintaining a safe, productive, and positive working environment and it's a rare moment that he's not smiling. He loves watching his team grow personally and works hard to foster a supportive, respectful culture.

Outside of work Benedict enjoys watching sci-fi and thriller movies, reading, playing and watching sports, and spending time with his dog Cooper, his family, and friends.

Sebastian Opitz

Christchurch Warehouse Manager

Sebastian manages Brandspec’s logistic refrigeration assets and repairs, communicating with reps about new and refurbished asset placements. He also oversees the inwards and dispatch of all the assets for Brandspec South Island.

Seb loves collaborating with coworkers, reps and clients to ensure a smooth process between all departments.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, surfing (when it’s warm enough) and outdoor activities.

Toby Cottle

Dispatch Team Leader

As part of the Warehouse team, Toby receives and processes the products coming into the warehouse, from event equipment to promotional materials and stock. He enjoys the challenge of ensuring everything has been processed correctly and all is accounted for.   

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with friends and family. 

Joseph Connolly

Inventory Coordinator

Joseph focuses on stock and movement accuracy, data manipulation and reporting. His data also supports logistics for distribution. Joseph is passionate about solving potential issues, before they become problems, by getting accurate and efficient data to clients.

Outside of work he enjoys DIY projects around the house, spending time with his vegetable garden and going for a swim at the beach on a hot summer day.

William Rakete

Warehouse & Inwards

William keeps the warehouse humming, taking care of inwards goods, quality control, warehouse storage management, stock movement, plus dispatch and much more.

He’s passionate about team work, being pro-active and getting a great result from a job well done.

Outside of work William enjoys a BBQ and beers with family and friends, watching rugby and rugby league, or a leisurely drive up country.

Josh Koski

Inwards Team Leader

Josh is originally from Australia but emigrated to New Zealand in 2025.

The former Woolworths Grocery Manager is also a qualified Refrigeration Air Conditioning Mechanic – a skill he puts to great use helping to service and repair the large fleets of chillers and freezers we manage for our clients.

The thing Josh enjoys most about his job is driving forklifts, and he holds all the relevant licences and safety qualifications.

After hours Josh is a big Online Gamer and it was through that shared interest that he met his partner.

Wendy Nahu

Warehouse Team

Wendy has over 13 years’ experience in all aspects of warehousing.

Her talents include making fry bread and she is learning to speak Maori.

A busy mother of six and grandmother of five, Wendy describes herself as a skilled multitasker.

In her downtime, Wendy likes to spend time with friends and family and her cat Zeus.

Ronin Martin

Warehouse Team

Ronin has over 5 years’ warehouse experience and has also worked in sales for a freight company.

His favourite thing about his current role is the team he works with.

Ronin enjoys cooking and is a dab hand at Chicken Parma.

Ronin’s favourite passtime is researching finance and he also has an interest in cars.
