Change starts with a single person recognising a need

After starting her own marketing consultancy business several years ago, Chanel Clarke realised how lonely working on your own could be. She reached out via social media and was pleasantly surprised when others said they were in a similar situation and would be keen to catch up for coffee.

Within months, membership was in the double digits and two years on The Marketers Club (TMC) has thousands of members spanning Australasia. Demand for large scale in person event led to the inaugural TMC Marketer's Day Out.

We were happy to sponsor an event by marketers for marketers as these are our people!

Marketing begins with people...

120 marketers from small to medium size marketing and promotional companies turned out ready to swap experience and ideas... and wow it was loud! From the minute they arrived, the crowd was enthusiastic and ready to mingle. They posed happily in front of the Media Wall we created and enjoyed taking pictures in our Magazine Cover booth

Most visited our stand and were keen to enter the draw for an Aperol Hamper including tickets to the ASB Tennis this summer (thanks to Campari Group for co-sponsoring this). Congrats to Ritika Singh of ri-think who took home the prize.There were some very thought provoking sessions on new technologies, evolving trends, the need to connect in person, and why Ai will never replace people. It was a fun event and we enjoyed supporting the next generation of marketers as they progress in their careers.
